The main objective of modularization is to reuse content to a high degree. Not only will this save editorial resources but it also ensures consistency and quality.
In order to support the reuse of content, flexible and configurable mechanisms are available in order to efficiently organize references, output filters or variables. These enable, for example, various device types (variants) of a series to be managed clearly and elegantly in a common manual structure. The size (granularity) of the modules is freely selectable.
All modules, documents and assets may be indexed by freely configurable meta data. Thus not only the retrieval of objects is simplified but it allows also automated procedures during the compilation of content.
